Week 5: The language & meaning of Adornment - Exploring how the things we wear closest to our skin can carry memory, meaning, and magic. We’ll look at jewellery, talismans, and symbolic accessories as tools of protection, remembering, celebration, and self-expression. Whether it’s your grandmother’s wedding ring, a string of beads found on holiday, or a friendship bracelet given with love — there are so many stories to tell. Together, we’ll ask how we can create or reclaim items as rituals, memory-keepers, and empowerment symbols? Expect stories, sacredness, and maybe a big dose of irreverent sparkle too. Guest Speaker Anthony Wong will encourage us to break rules, reimagine your relationship with the objects you wear, and step into your own radical self-expression. Expect nothing less than alchemy and a warm magical audacity!

Clare Jasmine Beloved
Mistress of all things Juicy and Gorgeous
Artist / Poet / Writer / Clothes Textile Designer / Therapist and Arts in Health Specialist/ Irreverent sista/ founder of the Bad Lesbian Widows Club
My life is a big, deep and juicy creative offering. My art is full of large scale lush goddesses, magic mermaids, sensual sistas, and sacred imagery, symbolism, story and feelings. My work is also translated into limited edition textile ranges in silks and velvet as well as a beautiful jewellery range.
My ground-breaking creative work has been funded by Arts Council England, and our large-scale creative projects have been rolled out through Public Health, NHS and Primary Care Teams, as well as schools, prisons and probation services.
I have lived through my own painful depressions, broken hearts and dreams, and difficult experiences. In 2021 my beloved wife Sandra died after a two-year intense battle with stage 4 breast cancer. I’ve found that grief is an intense magical teacher. I believe all our experiences and vulnerabilities can shape us into more compassionate human beings, willing to open our hearts more deeply and risk a wildly beautiful creative life.

Anthony Wong
I am a multi disciplinary artist and radical storyteller.
Working from the Bluecoat Arts Centre in Liverpool, exhibiting and selling internationally my work spans jewellery, sculpture and conceptual art, merging the deeply personal with the universally resonant..
I’m of Chinese heritage and have a deep connection to journeys of migration. Completing my Masters at The Royal College of Art, and winning a trip to Shanghai encouraged a step change to a more radical communication of my art. I have won Goldsmiths Awards and was supported by Arts Council England to do a 597mile journey, meeting new collaborators.
I make larger-scale conceptual exhibition pieces, drawing on themes of heritage, belonging, and the power of objects as emotional touchstones.
Delving deeply into memory, I breath new life into treasured pieces through radical redesigning and remodelling. Using all precious and non precious materials, creating vessels of history, wearable relics of identity and legacy.
Alchemy, Radical Self-Expression & the Wild Threads that Connect Us
I am excited to offer this gorgeous new journey into wild self-expression, where we invite you to tear up rules and outdated ways of being and free yourself up for something far more expansive.
Meet new mates & be part of a creative community
I adore creating communities and I am mistress of weaving people together in playful connections that often transform into juicy lifelong friendships and opportunities. Since Covid many of us have met in person less. As an introverted neurodiverse human who lives with PTSD and who gets anxious in groups - I make sure I create diverse options for joining in and make as safe and welcoming a space for everyone. Take part in whatever ways work for you and there are options galore - this is for you to experience in your way.
Step into a juicy colourful juicy explosion of colour and kindness.
The world is feeling really grim and hard right now for so many—we can’t control that, but we want to turn a small corner of your world radiant.
Connect with others in playful ways
Think of this as your invitation to play, dive in, disrupt your own limitations, adorn, and delight in the way you show up and through connecting and sharing creatively with others - help others see themselves in new ways too.
Open up your mind & heart to new ways of thinking & challenge your own status quo
This is for anyone who has ever felt boxed in by expectations, who wants to wear outfits that feel deeply expressive and magnificent but has felt held back, anyone who wants to feel more fully, beautifully, radically themselves. Get ready to unleash your style, honour your creativity, and sashay through summer like the boldest, brightest, most untamed version of yourself.
See yourself differently - fall in love with you and out of love with old patriarchal beliefs
We will drench ourselves in artistic, outsider & queer icons, challenge gender norms, pull faces at the patriarchy, and imagine dressing for comfort, joy, healing, and unapologetic selfhood. This is not just a course—it’s a juicy, nourishing, irreverent portal against the overculture, the boring, and the expected. A celebration of everyone’s brilliant way of showing up in the world and the stories we weave.
Gift yourself time out from the mundane and invite in nourishing magic
Through six weeks of deep exploration—colour, texture, identity, personal mythology, and the radical act of dressing—we’ll weave magic, medicine, and transformation into what we wear.
